These incredible honours come from the UK Enterprise Awards, hosted by SME News to celebrate outstanding businesses across the country and we’re so proud to have been recognised on a national scale.

🎶 “Love Pop Choir has been nominated in recognition of their inclusive, joy-filled approach to music and the strong sense of connection they foster among women through song. Their uplifting performances, welcoming ethos, and positive community impact make them a standout example of how music can bring people together and enrich lives.”

This brings us to a total of FIVE awards, including:

⭐the Best of the Best Community Choir of the year award for 2023/24, and

⭐back-to-back wins as Community Choir of the Year with the Yorkshire Prestige Awards in 2023/24 and 2024/25.

What makes this extra special is that Love Pop Choir has not put themselves forward for these awards and nominations. A judging panel of industry experts reviewed the social media sites, photos, videos, reviews etc for all the award entries and deemed Love Pop Choirs winners. So thank you to everyone for your wonderful enthusiasm and for making Love Pop Choir the amazing, happy place it is. 🎤

But that’s not all...

🤩 Love Pop Choir founder, Lauren Elliott, has also been nominated for the Visionary Leadership Awards 2025, which celebrates UK-based leaders making a difference through purpose and impact.

🎶 “Lauren has been nominated for her exceptional ability to foster a welcoming environment for singers of all backgrounds. Her passion for music and community shines through in every rehearsal, creating a space where individuals feel valued and inspired. Her leadership has transformed Love Pop Choir into a beloved local institution.”

Love Pop Choirs Harrogate & Boroughbridge

Lead by the fabulously talented Lauren, our Harrogate and Boroughbridge ladies choirs are often found performing together.

Our Harrogate choir is the largest Love Pop Choir group who meet on Thursday evenings in Harrogate to sing their hearts out. ❤️

They perform at large scale events such as Ripon Cathedral, Fountain's Abbey, the Harrogate Choir Festival and the Harrogate Race For Live. They also perform at lots of local charity events throughout the year.

Our Boroughbridge choir is one of our newer groups who meet on Tuesday evenings in Minskip.

They always enjoy a good laugh and our talented ladies choir have learnt an incredible amount of songs, to a very high standard, in a short space of time, enabling them to join with Harrogate at some of their big  events.

Love Pop Choir Saltaire

Our super talented Choir Director Shane leads our fabulous Saltaire choir, another of our largest choirs, on Monday evenings.

Shane is a performing artist and often involves our Saltaire ladies choir in large scale events in the surrounding area.

Not only do these talented ladies love to sing, they also love to socialise with nights out often on the cards.

Love Pop Choirs Ilkley & Otley

These amazing ladies are lead by the fabulously talented Katie, a singer-songwriter and choir director who recently wowed the nation on Britain’s Got Talent, alongside the incredible choir she sings in, earning 4 YES's from the judges!

A brilliant bunch of women, Love Pop Choir Ilkley love to sing their hearts out on Tuesday evenings.

Fantastic News - Love Pop Choir Otley is launching in September! They will also be lead by Katie on Wednesday evenings at the beautiful Canopy at The Treehouse bar in Otley.

It will be perfect for these two choirs to join up for many performances in the local area.

Sing 4 Stroke

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Love Pop Choir members and the general public we raised in excess of £1300 for the Stroke Association.

We recorded a wonderful arrangement, written especially for the choir by Lauren, of Beyonce's hit Halo, using this to lead our fundraising campaign.

Our special fundraising evening included a huge raffle, a massive bake sale and of course, lots of singing. 🎶

We were delighted that, after hearing our Halo recording, the Stroke Association asked to come along and film us singing for their latest advertising campaign... wow what an honour!

We chose to perform Bruno Mars hit Count On Me, especially arranged by Lauren's son, Max, as the lyrics are so relevant.
